    Simple Game Sender

    This is a script i made to send game to a 3ds/n3ds and install them over the wifi.
    It use a modified FBI that fix error when installing big game and sockfile to send them from a PC.

    The download link contains :

    FBI-chen-fix4.cia => Fixed FBI. (Recommended)
    sockfile.jar=> This is what send our game. (Java is needed )
    Linux Sender=> Script for linux user. (sockfile is needed )
    Lazy Linux Sender=> Same as above but you only enter the last digit of the IP considering your network address is 192.168.1.0. (sockfile is needed )
    Windows Sender=> Sender for windows user requested by @Txustra . (sockfile is needed )

    How much longer does it take to send a cia over wifi, compared to putting the cia file on the SD card and installing it manually? I'm curious about this

    i feel like it's 2 time faster over the wifi . Because you never get error (never seen anything nor my brother), and you don't need to take the SD out and in again, you don't need the double of space, and installation speed is faster because you only write on the SD and read from the network (reading/writing from the same source always lower performance).

    I'm not entirely sure how to use this. I just got Oracle Java 7 installed on Ubuntu. Whenever I click execute on any of the linux scripts, nothing happens. I tried the windows script, and I can run it via wine. I enter my IP and the cia's path. But it fails every time.

    I tried using SockPunch, and it works flawless and even comes with a GUI. You're right about the speed and simplicity of transferring over the network!

    On linux you need to give x permission to execute the file, use : sudo chmod 777 <the_script_path>
    I think something missing in your linux, try to use the normal command and see if the problem is with the terminal:
    java -jar sockfile.jar 192.168.1.xx 'your_game_path'
    If you get problem even when you are on terminal give me the error it show, and it's better to use the script in ext partition(just put it in your desktop)
    By the way i am using Linux Mint.

    PS: i am using openJDK, normally you should have it but if you got Oracle Java 7 too maybe that's is the problem(conflict?)

    Check if your firewall is blocking sockfile.jar.
