I am running luma3ds on a 9.2 system nand and emunand. When I load emunand I get a prompt to update my emunand system to latest firmware. I've done some research and saw it was easy to update emunand through setting like normal. However I've been reading that the latest firmware 11.0.? cant be updated and it stops the exploit. Can anyone give me some info on this please.

Updating is fine as long as your nands are unlinked. (One of them been formatted when set up to unlink) luma supports latest firmware on emunand.

I'm sure I unlinked them. If I start it normal it starts on normal firmware if I hold (L) when starting system it boots into luma3ds. Also when I boot between the sysnand and emunand I have different color themes. Does that show I'm unlinked? I do remember doing this step I believe.

When I got home I changed my sysnand theme to see if it changes in emunand just as a precaution and I noticed when I did that Menuhax stopped working and I had to reinstall it. Would this mean I'm still linked between the 2?

Turns out when you change themes in sysnand the emunand trigger(L) won't work unless it's reinstalled. After some more research I also learned you can confirm that you unlinked your nands by looking at your sd card on a pc or file manager on the 3ds. In the "Nintendo 3ds" folder on the root of the sd card, there should be 2 folders inside it with alot of random numbers as the folder names Then your nands are unlinked. Those 2 folders are your nands I believe. If you have one folder inside "Nintendo 3ds" your still linked
